The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day automotive gathering, bringing over a million enthusiasts and tens of thousands of classic and custom cars to metro Detroit for a celebration of horsepower, history, and passion on wheels. Each August, Woodward Avenue becomes the ultimate stage for car culture—where legendary machines and wild custom builds come alive. For 2025, the Hennessey team was on the ground with some of our own high-performance vehicles, capturing the spirit of the cruise and talking with incredible owners who brought out their rides to share. From a 1971 Dodge Charger and a custom 1999 “Sea-Burban” Suburban with a yacht body, to the world’s largest shopping cart car, and even a 1000-horsepower Hellcat-swapped Dodge Caravan—the Dream Cruise had it all. We also caught up with a 900-horsepower 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS Firebird Restomod from RevUp Motors, a pristine 2006 Ford GT from Oval Auto, a classic 1969 Mercury Cougar, and even Ford’s Heritage Fleet, which showcased icons from the Blue Oval’s history. The variety, creativity, and passion on display made this year’s Dream Cruise unforgettable.
