Battle of the Mustang 5.0L V8! We headed to the Pennzoil Proving Ground to line up the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang GT and flagship Dark Horse to see how they compare in a straight line. Both cars in the race have gone through the proper factory-proposed break-in process.

The Mustang GT is a GT Premium coupe, optioned with the GT Performance Package and 10-speed automatic transmission. The Dark Horse is a Dark Horse Premium coupe and is optioned with the Dark Horse Appearance Package, Dark Horse Handling Package, and 10-speed automatic transmission.
